- At least 3 years of higher education or equivalent for Pre-Master's courses
English proficiency
Foundation Certificate and International Year One
- UKVI IELTS 4.0 to 5.5 (or accepted equivalent)
Pre-Master’s
- UKVI IELTS 4.5 to 5.5 (or accepted equivalent)
Documents required
- Copies of your passport and any previous UK visas
- UKVI-approved Secure English Language Test (SELT) certificate or accepted equivalent
- Academic transcripts (plus certified translations if the original transcripts are not in English)

Academic Excellence Scholarship (UG)
- Eligibility: Foundation Certificate or IYO courses leading to a BU undergraduate degree
- Amount: £2,500 for one year of an undergraduate degree
Academic Excellence Scholarship (PG)
- Eligibility: Pre-Master‘s leading to a BU postgraduate degree
- Amount: £3,500 for one year of a postgraduate degree
