What the University of Cincinnati says about their program:
"Mathematical sciences include the disciplines of pure mathematics, applied mathematics and statistics. Mathematicians and statisticians use representations of abstract ideas and relationships to solve problems, in order to arrive at a general understanding of how these representations work, as well as how they could be applied. Mathematical sciences majors learn complex analytical and problem-solving skills while exploring a range of mathematical topics and problems."
The cornerstone scholarship program for the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnatus provides more than $22 million in renewable scholarships to the brightest and most promising incoming first-year students in all academic disciplines. To be considered for this award, incoming first-year students must submit a completed application and required accompanying materials by December 1 of their senior year.
10 Presidential Scholarships of $94,000 are awarded annually to academically competitive students (est. $23,500 per year covers full tuition, fees, room, board, and a book allowance).
International Outreach Awards are the primary scholarship for international undergraduate students. These are renewable awards that are applied to the non-resident surcharge (or “out of state”) portion of a student’s bill. Therefore, only international students being charged non-resident tuition are eligible.
Many international students will require a visa to study in the US, and this is a vital step of your study abroad journey. Make sure you understand the requirements you may need to meet before applying.
