Undergraduate academic requirements

For high school students applying to a Bachelor's program, the completion of your high school diploma is required, along with the appropriate minimum averages and pre-requisite requirements for the program applied to.

English proficiency

For applicants whose native language is not English, a satisfactory score on an English proficiency test is required.

  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum overall score of 83 (with a minimum Writing score of 20)
  • IETS: Minimum overall score of 6.5
  • Duolingo English Test: Minimum overall score of 115
  • Canadian Academic English Language (CAEL): Minimum overall score of 60

English proficiency waivers

Applicants are exempt from submitting an English language proficiency examination score if any one of the following conditions is true:

  • Within the past two years you have completed a university degree at a Canadian institution;
  • Within the past two years you have completed a university degree at an institution where English was the primary language of instruction
