English requirements

Bachelor's

  • TOEFL iBT: 76 (minimum of 22 points in writing is required)
  • IELTS: 6.0 (no band below 5.5. A minimum of 6.0 in writing is required)
  • FCE: Minimum grade B
  • PTE: 65

Master/MBA

  • TOEFL iBT: 88
  • IELTS: 6.5 (no band below 6.0)
  • CAE: From Grade C. A minimum of 180 points is required
  • PTE: 75

Doctorate

  • TOEFL iBT: 100 (no band below 20)
  • IELTS: Between 7 and 7.5 (no band below 6.0)

English proficiency waivers

Exceptions will only be considered for students who are English natives or have completed their high school education entirely in English at recognized International Schools following American, British, or IB curricula. However, our admissions committee maintains the authority to request any additional evidence of English proficiency if deemed necessary.

Fees and funding

Fee information

  • Bachelor program tuition: From €14,280 to €15,760 per year
  • Master program tuition: €11,340 per year
  • MBA program tuition: €19,780 per year
  • Doctorate program tuition: €13,360 per year

Funding

MCC Scholarship

  • Amount: Up to 100% of total tuition
  • Requirements: Mathias Corvinus Collegium and Modul University Vienna partner up to support students on their higher education journey. More details about upcoming MCC scholarships for the next intakes will be communicated soon!

Merit Grant

  • Amount: 10% of total tuition
  • Requirments: The admissions committee may grant a reduction of 10% to outstanding candidates. This grant is up to the discretion of the admissions committee and no extra application is required.

Full Tuition Fee Payment

  • Amount: 7% of total tuition
  • Requirements:

    Applicants who opt to pay their full tuition fees in one.­

Siblings Reduction

  • Amount: 10% of the total tuition fees for the following siblings
  • Requirements: If you are a sibling of a current student at MU Vienna and also want to study at MU. This reduction is not related to a specific study program.
