What the University of Cincinnati says about their program:
"The Rhetoric and Professional Writing track (RPW) prepares students to write persuasively and effectively in public and professional settings. We emphasize experiential learning opportunities, such as client-based class projects and internships, and offer students interdisciplinary and collaborative experiences that are important for a wide range of professional environments. The track prepares students to be informed, responsible participants in civic affairs and can lead to employment in commercial and non-profit organizations or graduate work in professional writing."
The cornerstone scholarship program for the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnatus provides more than $22 million in renewable scholarships to the brightest and most promising incoming first-year students in all academic disciplines. To be considered for this award, incoming first-year students must submit a completed application and required accompanying materials by December 1 of their senior year.
10 Presidential Scholarships of $94,000 are awarded annually to academically competitive students (est. $23,500 per year covers full tuition, fees, room, board, and a book allowance).
International Outreach Awards are the primary scholarship for international undergraduate students. These are renewable awards that are applied to the non-resident surcharge (or “out of state”) portion of a student’s bill. Therefore, only international students being charged non-resident tuition are eligible.
Many international students will require a visa to study in the US, and this is a vital step of your study abroad journey. Make sure you understand the requirements you may need to meet before applying.
