"The B.S. in Construction Engineering gives you a strong fundamental knowledge of engineering design and management principles. You’ll learn how to apply design theory and practices to produce solutions that support public health, safety, and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental, and economic factors.


As the only B.S. Construction program offered in the New York tri-state area, your studies will include engineering mechanics and graphics, survey and geomatics, construction materials, building construction, concrete and steel structure design, construction management, cost estimating, planning and scheduling, and project management.


You’ll gain additional learning experiences from rich resources that include our Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center, engineering clubs (ASME, SAE, NSBE), co-op program, and undergraduate research opportunities alongside faculty members as part of our Undergraduate Research & Entrepreneurial Program (UREP)."

Funding

First-Year Scholarships First-year students are considered for scholarships based on the strength of their applications. Students who apply to New York Tech without SAT/ACT scores will be eligible for scholarships. You may qualify for a first-year scholarship based on your GPA, average, and strength of your application.

Postgraduate Scholarships

Graduate Scholar Award (GSA)

  • Amount: Up to US$3,000 per year
  • This award recognizes the talents of entering graduate students who have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement. It consists of up to US$3,000 per-year tuition-only credit for a maximum of three years (six semesters) of continuous full-time enrollment (nine credits). Proration may be available for applicants taking less than nine graduate level credits per semester, but you must register for at least three graduate level credits per semester for this proration.

MBA Entrance Scholarship

  • Amount: US$6,000 and application fee waiver
  • Requirements: The scholarship aims to recognize academic excellence, leadership potential, and commitment to their field of study
