Fredericton is a small city in Atlantic Canada. Nevertheless, it has everything you will need as a university student as it is a provincial capital. It has several shopping centers, a well-structured bus system and good nightlife in Downtown Fredericton. Frederictorians are welcoming people and really attentive. As the city has 2 major universities, there are a lot of university students in the zone. The city did not give me an unsafe vibe at any moment.

Fredericton is a small but unique community. Currently, there are a lot of international families and students here. Therefore, the community is really diverse and unique. The best part is how welcoming and safe the city is. We have the option of walking (everything is close by) or taking the public transportation which can take you anywhere around the city. There are also a lot of delicious restaurants in the city. We can also enjoy numerous recreational activities like kayaking or biking.

Fredericton is such a small community! There’s not much night-life but it is absolutely stunning during the summer and fall months. I am more of an introvert when I am in my own space and so not living in a noisy community that is more-so country-like makes it so much easier for me to work on myself. I enjoy just going downtown to have Italian food or brunch at “pur n simple” one of my favourite spots. People in Fredericton are warm and will always greet you kindly!
