SMK University of Applied Social Sciences (SMK) is a dynamic and modern education institution based in the Lithuanian capital of Vilnius. The University also has campus locations in and the port-city ofKlaipėda, and a new campus in the second-largest Lithuanian city of Kaunas.

The University offers 17 study programs, with eight taught in English including an intensive language preparatory course. You can also study international business, tourism and recreation, digital communication, marketing, and programming, and multimedia.

SMK’s campuses boast a range of modern facilities designed to encourage group and independent learning. Students can enjoy the University’s dance studios, recreation spaces, cafeteria, libraries, and multimedia classrooms, and lecture halls.

Funding

40% TALENT SCHOLARSHIP

The scholarship applies only for the first year of studies, after that students can apply for other scholarship programs.

Requirements:

  • Average school graduation grade – 8,5 (85% out of 100%);
  • Qualification recognition from SKVC being done before the deadlines;
  • Complete the scholarship assignment

20% BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SCHOLARSHIP

This scholarship is given for one semester of studies for the applicants of the business management study sphere, with a chance of reapplying for other semesters in the future if a student meets all the criteria later on.

Requirements:

  • Be an applicant for one of the following programs - International Business, Marketing and Advertising, Tourism and Recreation, Finance and Investment Management
  • Qualification recognition from SKVC being done before the deadline;
  • Write a motivational letter “Why am I eligible for this scholarship?”
  • Average school graduation grade – 8,0 (80% out of 100%)

Life at SMK University of Applied Social Sciences

SMK is a truly diverse institution, with more than 120 international students currently calling the university home.

You're made to feel welcome at SMK as soon as you arrive, with a wide range of welcome and induction programs arranged in your first week. These include an introduction to Vilnius, campus tours, a dance party, and trips around Lithuania.

All students have academic counselors, who are on hand at all times to help you solve any academic issues that might arise.

The University can offer accommodation, but places are limited. Alternatively, SMK can help you find safe and comfortable housing through house shares, local estate agents, and hostels.
