Code of Conduct

Studee’s Code of Conduct for education agents outlines our expectations regarding the recruitment, promotion, general assistance, and behavior of our education agents and their sub agents towards students and parents.

Our company stands for the core values of synergy, honesty, and integrity. As such, we expect all education agents to be directed by the same values in their judgment and behavior.

Requirements of the Agent

  • Disclose any previous or pending sanctions, fines, or decisions imposed on them that may impact their services as an education agent.
  • Confirm all employees and sub agents who will use Studee speak and read fluent English so they are able to confidently and competently converse with students and Studee advisors and read and understand all relevant training, policies, and other literature provided.
  • Ensure students only accept one offer to any university, including those they have direct partnerships with, those introduced by Studee, or another partner. It is also the agent’s responsibility to ensure the Student only accepts an offer to a university partner they intend to enroll at and can afford.

Competence

  • Convey all information to students to ensure that they understand the requirements of their chosen course.
  • Assess the student’s desire to participate and complete their chosen course.
  • Have the appropriate knowledge about the recruitment and admission process of the country they are sending the student to.
  • Demonstrate quality and effective recruitment practices and standards.
  • Evaluate the student’s study capacity prior to enrollment in their chosen course.

Professionalism

  • Maintain high standards of professional conduct.
  • Act in good faith and with fairness, consideration, and impartially.
  • Show appropriate sensitivity to other cultures and value systems.
  • Refrain from unseemly criticism of other advisors or originations.
  • Refrain from becoming involved in personal relations with students.
  • Recognize the power of influence with the role.
  • Use their best endeavors to provide university documents received from Studee to the Student within 24 hours of receiving them.
  • Use their best endeavors to respond to student emails.
  • Always listen and communicate emphatically and reassure the student you are there to assist them.
  • Always communicate in a polite and friendly tone of voice.
  • Accurately represent areas of expertise in competence, education, training, and experience.
  • Ensure your offices and staff attire are kept looking professional and respectable.
  • Notify Studee of any and all complaints it receives from a student or their parent or legal guardian whose application has been submitted to Studee about an agent employee, sub agent, university partner, or Studee. Complaints will be handled in accordance with the Complaints policy and may result in disciplinary action.
