Bachelor of Arts (BA) Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Study in one of the most comprehensive and immersive theatre programs in Canada. Take part in our mainstage season onstage and behind the scenes. Learn about the historical and modern importance of theatre. All theatre classes involve hands-on, experiential learning, so you’ll have many opportunities for internships and project work in the community. You’ll graduate with skills that are key to successful careers in every field.

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (academic stream) with high-level results / minimum GPA 3.0 or equivalent.

Postgraduate academic requirements

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
  • The equivalent of a minimum “B” average over the last two years of your degree.

English proficiency

  • IELTS

    6.5 (no subscore below 6.0)

  • TOEFL

    90 (no section less than 20)

    The University of Victoria International Entrance Scholarship awards at least CAD 5,000 to academically outstanding international students entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program.
