A non-renewable award of up to $5,000 per academic year, paid to the student's account in two installments (fall and spring) to help cover tuition and university fees. It is open specifically to first-time international undergraduate students holding or applying for an F-1 visa who have completed UTC's international application and received an acceptance letter with a UTCID. Applicants must register for at least 12 credit hours, maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA in their first semester, participate in Center for Global Education activities, and complete a "Why UTC?" project (a short video, presentation, essay, animation, or poster) as part of the application. Students already receiving another scholarship are not eligible. The application deadline is July 1, and only students entering in the fall semester are considered.
