A £5,000 progression scholarship awarded to Foundation Certificate students on the University of Birmingham Foundation Pathways (delivered by the Birmingham International Academy in partnership with Kaplan International Pathways). It is applied as a reduction to first-year degree tuition fees when the student progresses from the foundation pathway to their undergraduate degree at the University of Birmingham. Eligibility: students must achieve an academic average of at least 90% on their foundation programme and be recommended by the academy. The Foundation Pathways programme is designed specifically for international (non-UK) students progressing into University of Birmingham undergraduate degrees, so international undergraduate-track students are the intended and explicit audience for this award.
