The Media and Cinema Studies program combines courses from the film, television, radio and new media fields of study. You will develop an understanding of critical frameworks and theories in media studies, as well as develop your creativity and technological skills. As a Media and Cinema Studies major, you will take courses from the College of Communication, the School of Cinematic Arts and other university departments. And you will have access to DePaul's green screen studio, control room, editing suites and the digital equipment facility.

The Global DePaul Scholarship is DePaul University's merit-based award for incoming international freshmen, worth $12,000 to $32,000 per year. All international undergraduate applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship when they apply for admission -- no separate application is required. The award amount is determined based on high school GPA and is communicated in the student's admission letter. It is renewable for up to four consecutive years (12 quarters) of undergraduate study, provided the recipient maintains good academic standing, enrolls full-time each quarter, and completes a minimum of 36 quarter hours during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. Because this scholarship is explicitly aimed at "all international students" applying to DePaul as freshmen, it is directly open to international undergraduates.
