Learn more about studying Film and Media Production as an international student.

What Canterbury Christ Church University says about their program:
The MA Film and Media Production offers a unique blend of practical production skills, professional knowledge and academic study as well as opportunities for you to become a researcher in your own right. We have designed the course to be taught through a combination of intensive workshop sessions, online interactive and self-directed teaching, as well as group and individual tutorials. The programme provides intensive instruction in cinematography, camerawork, sound recording and design, non-linear editing, scriptwriting, producing and directing. Why study MA Film and Media Production at CCCU? The MA Film & Media Production is practically based but it should not be seen only as a vocational preparation. It includes an important theoretical component that is related to the practical side of the programme; theoretical issues are explored through practice and in complimentary modules. The course is taught by a team of experienced educators who have had professional careers in a related sector and/or are internationally recognised researchers in their field. A group of non-academic partners and advisors also contribute to the delivery of the programme, in the forms of visiting talks, debates and discussions, contributing to assignment briefs, and offering networking opportunities. These professionals have significant experience as media creators. Our course is unique that it is delivered alongside multiple degree routes in the broader Creative and Cultural Industries subject areas, which enables you to have a multi and interdisciplinary learning experience and meet and collaborate with a range of creative professionals.
