What Nova Southeastern University says about their program:
Whether your classroom is virtual or on campus, an education degree from Nova Southeastern University will provide all the tools you need to thrive in today’s classroom, such as the skills to engage students using tools that foster cognitive and language development. You will learn to address the needs of diverse students and layer your experiences to become an educational leader who focuses on equity, cultural awareness and social responsibility.
Explore teaching and learning processes in K-12 classrooms and develop the skills to design innovative lessons that foster student success. Practicum hours and a pre-professional internship (including observation and co-teaching experiences) will take you to the head of the classroom in non-public schools.

This institutional scholarship is available to undergraduate students in NSU's Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice who have completed at least two terms at NSU and hold a minimum 3.0 GPA. It requires applicants to demonstrate financial need, but unlike most NSU institutional awards it explicitly states that "preference [is] given to International students," and its financial-need documentation rule only requires a current FAFSA on file for domestic students -- meaning international undergraduates can qualify without a FAFSA by demonstrating need through other means. Interested students apply via the college's scholarship application, submitted to [email protected], with deadlines of July 15 (Fall), November 1 (Winter), and March 31 (Summer).
