The Baccalaureat en genie chimique, or Chemical Engineering, is a Bachelor of Engineering offered at Universite Laval. It trains students to apply and optimise industrial processes in fields such as biofuels, biomaterials, ore treatment, pharmaceutical processes and the environment.

Students learn the equipment, techniques and processes used in the chemical and related industries, building a foundation in fundamental sciences and the phenomena behind key operations.
