    Queen Margaret University offers a small number of competitive scholarships worth £3,000, awarded as a reduction of tuition fees for one year of study. The award is open explicitly to international fee-paying students applying for an on-campus undergraduate or taught postgraduate degree at QMU. Eligible applicants must be self-funding (not sponsored) and enrolled on a programme with an international tuition fee of more than £12,500 per year; applicants do not need to have received an offer or accepted a place at the time of applying. The scholarship is payable for a single year of study only and cannot be reapplied for in subsequent years. To apply, candidates complete an online application including a supporting statement of 500-1000 words covering programme choice, career relevance, interest in QMU/Scotland, academic or professional achievements, and financial need; no additional documents such as CVs or references are considered. Deadlines are 31 March for September entry and 31 October for January entry.
