The BSc (Hons) in Business Management & Economics course with Foundation Year covers a wide range of theoretical and analytical subjects, as well as methods for analysing real-world corporate and economic challenges. Business management and economic skills are interwoven, and you will gain knowledge that will help you comprehend and critically assess business, finance, marketing, and accounting methods.

We are one of the few universities in the UK offering direct use of Bloomberg data, information, and analytics in a dedicated trading room which provides a simulation of what it’s like to work on a real trading floor in the financial district.
On this course you have the opportunity to include a professional placement year to gain real-world experience in business. The University will support you in finding suitable work placements, and you will also receive tutorial support from an academic member of staff throughout the year.
The foundation year will help you to broaden your industry knowledge and enable you to progress to a related undergraduate degree. It aims to help you develop a strong foundation of business knowledge, alongside academic and transferable skills to ensure you get the most out of your degree-level studies.
