Are you interested in foreign affairs? At IBS you will have the chance to meet ambassadors and diplomats who give their hands-on experiences about world-wide issues and the ups and downs of their diplomatic missions.

This double degree programme of studies between IBS (Hungary) and The University of Buckingham (UK), delivered in Budapest, covers the core knowledge and skills related to your programme using an interactive and practice-oriented approach to teaching and learning in small groups, and it also includes the UpSkill programme, our HR award-winning employability skills development framework as part of your studies.

This programme will lead you to a sophisticated, interdisciplinary understanding of international business, providing you with a contextual understanding of contemporary international relations, and equipping you with skills, traditionally required in international diplomacy. You will have in-depth knowledge of a geographical region of your choice.

Bachelor programs High school diploma and a certified English translation of your high school diploma if it is not in English.

Foundation program This is an English course with groups from beginner to advanced level. Non-EU students must have a high school diploma to be able to attend. Students take IBS’s own ONLINE English Language Placement Test before starting the program.

Postgraduate academic requirements

Master programs

  • Strategic International Management, Strategic Human Resource Management, IT for Business Data Analytics

    First- or second-class Bachelor's degree in any field of study.

  • Strategic Finance, Strategic Marketing

    Relevant first- or second-class Bachelor's degree or a first or second class Bachelor's degree in any field plus documented relevant work experience of at least 1 year.

  • MBA in Data-Driven Management

    Bachelor's degree in any field of study, transcript with at least one module in mathematics or finance, CV, work reference of 3-5 years, motivation letter

Mature students not meeting the above requirements should contact us with their complete application documentation, which will be considered on an individual basis.

Doctorate Programs

  • First or second class, upper division Master's degree.
  • Sufficient English skills and academic knowledge that the IBS Research Officer checks with an Orientation Interview via Skype.
