Get a head start on your career in medicine through the Pre-Med Pathway developed in partnership with two internationally recognized medical schools: Medical University of the Americas (MUA) or Saba University School of Medicine (SABA).
Upon successful completion of the BSc degree with a GPA of 3.0 or greater, you will receive one full year of transfer credits towards your Medical Degree at either of the partner institutions.
In addition to the full year transfer credits, which provides an obvious cost and time savings, the partnership will also provide you with other appealing benefits, including the opportunity for conditional acceptance, and if satisfied, a guaranteed seat in a medical program.
Secondary school graduates from outside of Canada are required to have a senior secondary school credential equivalent to the OSSD with an academically rigorous final year and a minimum overall average of 70% or equivalent on the local grading scale.
Applicants to graduate programs at the University of Niagara Falls Canada must meet the following minimum conditions for admission:
6.5 overall with minimum of 6.0 in the writing band
70 overall with minimum of 60 in each subset
125 overall with no individual component below 115
61 overall with minimum score of 60 in writing
88 overall with minimum of 20 in each component
570 minimum score
Secondary school applicants will be required to demonstrate graduation from 4+ years of consecutive study where English was the language of instruction.
Post-Secondary (or higher) applicants will be required to demonstrate completion of 1+ year(s) of full-time study where English was the language of instruction OR completion of a 3+ credit academic English course from a Canadian post-secondary institution.
