Learn more about studying Applied Economics as an international student.

What Corvinus University of Budapest says about their program:
The aim of the program is to train professionals who are familiar with fundamental economic concepts and relationships, capable of structured, model-based, critical thinking, and able to use a wide range of data analysis tools, while also possessing basic social science knowledge. This set of knowledge and skills opens the door to a large number of master’s programs for our graduates, allowing them to specialize in the direction that interests them the most. As a result, when entering the workforce, they will not only find a profitable career but also one that suits them best.
Most of our students continue their studies, and since the applied economics bachelor’s program serves as an excellent entry point to many master’s programs, career opportunities are also diverse. Many of our former students have secured positions in various analyst position at large companies, banks, insurance companies, consulting firms, and public policy research institutions, including positions such as macroeconomic analyst, market analyst, actuary, financial analyst, etc. Others hold decision-preparation or decision-making positions in economic policy-making institutions. However, the path may also lead to careers in journalism, real estate market expertise, statistics, or even academia.
