Student reviews for business law in the UK
I have done my LLB LLM and now doing my PhD in law. The University provides high quality lecture materials with very helpful lectures.
I am currently in year 3 of the Law course. The course has been filled with various assignments and there is definitely a challenge to completing them but it is good that lecturers are always there to give you a hand. The lectures have been good and organized. They are backed up with material provided by the lecturers and we have the chance to take part in tutorials where we apply the knowledge we have gained from the lectures. These help immensely with the different modules and you get a better chance to discuss the material with the lecturers one-on-one. The workload can be overwhelming at the start but you soon get used to it. The lecturers do take into consideration the other modules you are also attending which is great as sometimes deadlines fall on the same day and that can cause lots of stress. The lecturers are easy to approach and they are really happy to help you with anything. The will to do all the assignments is all you really need. My tuition is covered by SAAS, which makes my studies easier as I do not need to worry about whether I can afford to study in Scotland or not.
Lectures are mostly good, lecturers are competent and some of them also inspiring. Course structure good, so is everything else.
Scots Law LLB is a good course if you want to work in Scotland.
The course is structured very well but because of the lake of several tutors the teaching quality is not very good.
