Every year, international students find, apply, and enrol at universities through Studee. The good that emerges is education - and that’s the most powerful way to change the world.
Researchers have found that study abroad experiences have a positive impact on academic, educational, personal, and professional outcome measures. Studee have defined 4 positive impacts of our service and product.
1. Inclusive access to education
We want to make sure that every student has the opportunity to study abroad regardless of their race, religion, social, political or economic background.
Studying abroad helps students expand their academic horizons and develop the capacity to adapt to various educational settings. Completion rates are higher among international students which means they are more likely to finish their studies, and it also benefits university retention rates. We do this with sustainability at the heart of our decision making.
2. Increase employability and career prospects
The skills gained while studying abroad are attractive and highly valued by employers. Many employers are also known to recognize and value the importance of cross-cultural understanding in an increasingly global economy.
3. Language and communication skills
Studying abroad gives students the chance to become better communicators and fluent in other languages, which are both very attractive skills for future employers. Whether a student wants to improve their business English, become fluent in Spanish, French, Mandarin or perfect their Arabic, studying abroad is the ideal environment to achieve this.
4.Intercultural learning
Studying abroad means gaining life experience in a different country and culture. Students who have studied abroad understand the complexity of global issues, have greater opportunity to learn from different cultures, and are more culturally sensitive.
