Our planet needs woodland ecology and conservation graduates to secure a sustainable future, and so, we’ve designed this course for people like you. You’ll learn the science and art of conserving and sustainably managing trees, woods and forests at our National School of Forestry on our Ambleside campus in the Lake District National Park. You will live and learn in Ambleside, where ancient woodland and commercial forests are a practical laboratory on your doorstep.

  • Applicants will require a Bachelor's degree
  • Background education in the subject
  • Entry requirements for Masters degrees and PGCEs usually ask for a degree which for some programmes may need to be in a relevant subject area and/or at a minimum award classification.

Cumbria Global Scholarships

- **Amount:** The University of Cumbria is offering an international fee discount scholarship of up to £2,000 per year of study. - **Requirements/Eligibility:** This is available to most Non-EU and Non-EEA international students enrolling with us in the academic year 2023/24.
