Learn more about studying Public Relations and Advertising as an international student.

What DePaul University says about their program:
In the Public Relations and Advertising program, you will develop an understanding of public relations and advertising theories and practices. You’ll learn to consider advertising and public relations processes, products and effects from multiple perspectives, as well as develop critical thinking skills and your ability to speak and write effectively. You may choose to take courses that concentrate on either public relations or advertising. Public relations focuses on maintaining and promoting the image of a company. Advertising focuses on persuading an audience to purchase a product. If you are interested in both fields, you have the option to take courses from both subject areas.

The Global DePaul Scholarship is DePaul University's merit-based award for incoming international freshmen, worth $12,000 to $32,000 per year. All international undergraduate applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship when they apply for admission -- no separate application is required. The award amount is determined based on high school GPA and is communicated in the student's admission letter. It is renewable for up to four consecutive years (12 quarters) of undergraduate study, provided the recipient maintains good academic standing, enrolls full-time each quarter, and completes a minimum of 36 quarter hours during Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters. Because this scholarship is explicitly aimed at "all international students" applying to DePaul as freshmen, it is directly open to international undergraduates.
