Psychology may be defined as the scientific study of the behavior of humans and animals. The goal of the Department of Psychology is to help students understand the history, methods, and philosophy of the differing approaches to the study of behavior. Students choosing the concentration in Child Psychology will have an opportunity to acquire a breadth of knowledge in the area of Child Psychology and gain hands on experiences through research and/or practicum experiences.
