Admission requirements

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • At BIMM Institute, most of our undergraduate performance degree courses require a minimum of 32 UCAS points or two A-Levels or equivalent
  • Non-performance degree courses require a minimum of 64 UCAS points or two A-Levels at grade C or equivalent
  • We accept other qualifications such as BTEC, International Baccalaureate Diplomas and Certificates and European Baccalaureate which are equivalent to UCAS tariff points.

Postgraduate academic requirements

For Postgraduate courses, we usually require a bachelor degree with a 2:2 or equivalent grade.

English proficiency

Undergraduate programs:

  • IELTS

    Min. 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each element

  • TOEFL (iBT)

    Min. 72 overall with 18 in Reading, 17 in Writing, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking

  • PTE Academic

    Min. 50 overall with no less than 42 in each element

  • Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE)

    170 overall with 165 in each component

  • Trinity ISE 2

    Pass with Merit

Postgraduate programs:
