What St. George's University says about their program:

The four-year MD program consists of a 157-week curriculum that is typically completed within four calendar years. The MD program is broken down into two phases: Basic Sciences and Clinical Training.

  • Year 1 and Year 2 (Basic Sciences), students complete their courses on the True Blue Campus in Grenada. Students learn through traditional lectures and laboratory sessions augmented by small–group sessions and case–based learning exercises.
  • Year 3 and Year 4 (Clinical Training) happens at SGU affiliated hospitals and clinics across the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Grenada using bedside teaching and augmented by lectures, small groups, and directed study.

The curriculum for our four-year program gives you the foundation needed to succeed as a physician, and prepares you to grow your practice into a thriving career in medicine.
