Learn more about studying Medical Engineering as an international student.

What the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria says about their program:
The international Master's degree programme equips the students for engineering medical devices as well as products and place them into the market.
Therefore students deepen fundamentals of engineering and science in essential areas of medical technologies and can choose 3 (out of 4) elective modules: Electronics, Biomechanics, Medical Device Software, Materials Technology. These are enhanced by courses considering Systems Engineering, Medicine and Clinical Trials and Regulatory Affairs.
Within the Project Work and Master's Thesis, students can apply their skills within companies, research institutes or hospitals to develop, produce or integrate modern medical devices or products. Graduates are qualified as engineers with the ability to develop medical devices and products within the regulatory framework of European markets and the ability to consider FDA regulations.
