This programme is designed to provide you with detailed knowledge of advanced methods in Mechanical Engineering encompassing theoretical foundations, computational and experimental methods, and engineering applications. In addition to a comprehensive choice of elective options, the programme features an individual project that allows you to tackle a research topic that you select from a wide range of themes. As a graduate of this programme, you will be highly sought-after by major Irish and multinational companies across a wide range of sectors – energy, biomedical, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, construction, chemicals and pharmaceuticals. In addition, the course will provide you with the required educational standard to apply for Chartered Engineer status, fulfilling the requirements of Engineers Ireland for this internationally-recognised professional title.
