What DePaul University says about their program:

In the Bachelor of Science in Mathematical Sciences program, you will learn the fundamentals of pure and applied mathematics, preparing you for a career in mathematics, natural sciences, computer science, social sciences or business. In order to complete the Mathematical Sciences BS degree, you are required to take an additional 16 quarter-hours in natural sciences or computer science. A thesis option is available under the guidance of a faculty member.

  • Official high school transcripts with a GPA of 2.75

Postgraduate academic requirements

  • Each graduate program establishes its own application and admission standards, and deadlines. Pathway GPA requires a 2.3 to 2.75 GPA; Direct Entry requires a 2.5 to 4.0 GPA

English proficiency

Undergraduate

  • TOEFL 80 on the IBT TOEFL with no subsection lower than 17 or IELTS Academic 6.5

Graduate

  • TOEFL score of 80 (ibt) with all section scores at 17 or higher, or an IELTS score of 6.5, or a Duolingo English Test score of 115 and above, or a Pearson Test of English (PTE) score of 53.

Global Gateway Program Scholarships

Undergraduates are eligible for multiple scholarships when they apply to DePaul University’s Global Gateway Program.

For level GGP (3-, 4-, or 5-Quarter)

  • Amount

    US$5,000 to US$15,000 per year

  • Requirements

    $9,000 for 3.0 to 3.49 GPA / $12,000 for 3.5 to 4.0 GPA. Scholarships automatically renewable for 3 years, provided student maintains good academic standing (2.0 GPA).

For Direct Admission
