Webster Vienna Private University New Student Scholarships

The Fall Semester scholarship application period for newly admitted students begins on March 1. The application deadline is May 31 at 13:00 CET. The Spring Semester scholarship application period for newly admitted students begins on October 1 and the application deadline is November 30 at 13:00 CET. We encourage all newly admitted undergraduate (bachelor's) and graduate (master's) degree students with exceptional academic achievement and proven financial need to apply for a Webster Vienna Private University Scholarship. Applicants must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on the American 4-point scale and advanced or native-level proficiency in English. Up to 20 new students may receive different scholarship awards per year. We offer WVPU New Student Scholarships on three different levels. The level-specific eligibility criteria and amounts awarded per academic year are:

Distinction

  • Undergraduate

    Minimum 3.5 GPA, minimum C1 English proficiency, significant financial need, excellent essay and recommendations, newly accepted student starting in Fall or Spring semester, €12,000 per year

  • Graduate

    Minimum 3.5 GPA, minimum C1 English proficiency, significant financial need, excellent essay and recommendations, newly accepted student starting in Fall or Spring semester, €8,000 per year

Merit

  • Undergraduate

    Minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum B2 English proficiency, significant financial need, strong essay and recommendations, newly accepted student starting in Fall or Spring semester, €7,000 per year

  • Graduate

    Minimum 3.0 GPA, minimum B2 English proficiency, significant financial need, strong essay and recommendations, newly accepted student starting in Fall or Spring semester, €5,000 per year

Honors
