By the end of your course, you can expect to be a highly creative, thoughtful and collaborative educator with the skillset to succeed in both further and higher education. You’ll develop your skills, knowledge and agency as a teacher, as well as learning to use educational theory and undertake your own primary research. We take a highly person-centred approach, offering expert tuition, one-to-one mentoring, engaging practical workshops and guided independent study. Aside from skills development and knowledge acquisition, you will learn to critically examine and challenge beliefs and attitudes in order to find your own voice as an educator.

Admission requirements

Undergraduate academic requirements

  • At BIMM Institute, most of our undergraduate performance degree courses require a minimum of 32 UCAS points or two A-Levels or equivalent
  • Non-performance degree courses require a minimum of 64 UCAS points or two A-Levels at grade C or equivalent
  • We accept other qualifications such as BTEC, International Baccalaureate Diplomas and Certificates and European Baccalaureate which are equivalent to UCAS tariff points.

Postgraduate academic requirements

For Postgraduate courses, we usually require a bachelor degree with a 2:2 or equivalent grade.

Undergraduate programs:

    Min. 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in each element

  • TOEFL (iBT)

    Min. 72 overall with 18 in Reading, 17 in Writing, 17 in Listening and 20 in Speaking

  • PTE Academic

  • Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English (CAE)

**Amount:** £2,000 **To be eligible for the early confirmation scholarship, you must:** - Be an overseas applicant ineligible for home fee status - Apply and receive an offer to study at BIMM Institute UK colleges from 2024/25 - Accept your offer - Pay your deposit on or before 15th June - The scholarship will automatically be deducted from your fees when you enrol
