What the University of Limerick says about their program:
Wars have often changed the course of human history, opening up pathways into the future and closing down others. Examining conflict and its impact on society is vital if we are to understand the world around us. This programme explores Irish and international conflict during the twentieth century—the most violent in recorded history. A key objective of this history masters is to foster an appreciation of how nations have been affected by war in different ways. Part of the course will also be devoted to the study of conflict resolution, examining the history of diplomacy, and negotiation between states.
