Undergraduate academic requirements

• Official High School transcript indicating your date of graduation, or an official GED transcript
• You can also provide proof of completion of secondary education if you have studied outside of the United States or the American educational system. Examples may include the Abitur, Selectividad, Baccalauréat, International Baccalaureate (IB) “O” and “A”- level exam results

Postgraduate academic requirements

• You will need the official transcripts from the institution that awarded your undergraduate degree or its equivalent
• If you do not have a degree recognized in the United States, you must arrange to have an evaluation of your foreign transcript by American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO)’s International Education Services, a member of Association of International Credential Evaluators (AICE), or National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) prior to the evaluation and award

English proficiency waivers

Undergraduate

• Native English speaker
• If you have successfully graduated from the Tampa Language Center with a Level 6 program, you are eligible for admission
• Verification proof may be waived if you are a student who has graduated from a secondary school where English is the language of instruction or the country's official language

Graduate

• Native English speaker
• Completed post-secondary education exclusively in the English language
• Completed at least 24 academic credits in a university-level program taught in English

Funding

Global Citizen Scholarship - Undergraduate & Graduate

• Amount

  Up to 40%. All undergraduate degrees during the first year of tuition. All graduate degrees.

• Requirements

  Scholarship Application. 200 word essay on the following topic: "How are you contributing to your community as a Global Citizen?". Proof of any extracurricular activities (sports, music, charity work, clubs, etc.) will also be positively regarded.

International Talent Scholarship - Undergraduate & Graduate

• Amount

  Up to 40%. Applicable for new students during their first year. Applicable on the entire program.

• Requirements

  Scholarships to students who demonstrate exceptional talent in specific fields, such as arts, sports, sciences, or leadership. 200 words essay explaining the special talent. Eligibility for the International Talent Scholarship is obtained through satisfactorily submitting an application for admission to Schiller International University along with the additional requested documentation; it is ultimately awarded at the Admissions Committee’s discretion.

High School Medallion Scholarship - Undergraduate

• Amount

  Up to 40% in the first year

• Requirements

  Awarded in conjunction with the High School. Students must demonstrate a GPA of 3.3.

Academic Excellence - September 2025 Scholarship

• For students enrolling in the September 2025 intake at Schiller International University – Heidelberg Campus
• Amount

  50% in the first year

• Requirements

  Students who maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher will continue receiving a 50% scholarship. Students who maintain a minimum 3.2 GPA will be eligible for a 25% scholarship in the second year.
