MSU's master's program in Exercise Physiology is centered on research conducted both independently and in the classroom. With an 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio, students are given the individualized attention they need to flourish and succeed. Students who finish the program are well-prepared for clinical work, strength and conditioning, and the conduction of research. Often, graduates of the program serve as coaches, work in strength and conditioning programs, or perform clinical work associated with health and exercise.

    The Good Neighbor Scholarship (administered through the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's Good Neighbor Program) exempts eligible students from Midwestern State University's tuition for 12 months beginning with the fall semester.
