Our Environmental Science program introduces you to the many environmental challenges we face, such as climate change, invasive species, and biodiversity loss. Our students receive the training needed to tackle these challenges in future careers as environmental scientists. You’ll develop critical thinking skills that will allow you to understand and propose solutions to current environmental, social, and economic challenges facing humanity in the twenty-first century. Our program is interdisciplinary - you’ll take courses in biology, chemistry, geography, but can also take relevant courses in political science, sociology, economics, and law and justice. In your third year, you’ll complete an 80-hour internship with an industry leader or researcher. In your fourth year, you can complete an honour’s thesis research project and/or complete another internship in the field of environmental science.
