Geoscientists play a crucial role in the sustainable development of Earth’s resources that individuals, industries, and countries, such as Canada, rely upon every day. Students in Trent’s Environmental Geoscience program study Earth’s geological and natural systems to understand the environment and the impacts of human activities. With experiential learning at its core, this professionally accredited program equips students with the skills needed to tackle pressing environmental challenges from climate change to contaminated groundwater to geohazards, leading you to rewarding careers as geoscientists.

Applicants whose English language proficiency is below Trent’s accepted scores are invited to apply for gradual admission through the Trent-ESL: English for University Program.

Trent International Prestigious Scholarships and Awards are application-required awards for entering international undergraduate students with strong academics, leadership, community service and some financial need. Awards can fund tuition and mandatory ancillary fees up to the published annual amount.
All international undergraduate students applying to Trent are automatically considered for renewable entrance scholarships based on academic excellence. Awards range from CAD 2,500 to CAD 5,500 annually and are renewable over the undergraduate degree if criteria are met.
