Entrepreneurship is a dynamic way of thinking and acting that capitalizes on opportunities with innovation to create value and solve problems. The program is of interest to students who want to launch their own start-ups and social enterprises, as well as to students who plan to work in small-and-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), family businesses, and service providers like the small business banking industry or government agencies that focus on SMEs. In this program students will learn about creating and evaluating a new venture idea and analyzing the desirability, feasibility and viability of these ventures. Students develop knowledge about launching and growing a venture, as well as skills like creativity, problem solving, solution development, and compelling communication – abilities that are highly transferrable to employment in the corporate sector.
Applicants to bachelor’s degree programs must have obtained a secondary school diploma. This diploma must be eligible to access further academic studies in the country where it has been obtained.
