What Colorado State University says about their program:
The interdisciplinary Cell & Molecular Biology graduate program comprises a community of graduate students, faculty, and staff with diverse experiences and interests. We share a common goal of preparing the next generation of scientific leaders to make significant contributions in our field. We accomplish this by promoting a rigorous interdisciplinary curriculum, and an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative culture. Our faculty mentors are distributed across 6 colleges and 17 departments at CSU. Our program is ideal for those who want to work in the space between traditional fields or explore multiple research areas to find a good fit. We place a strong emphasis on developing quantitative and computational skills. Students are generally admitted with full support as teaching assistants and participate in laboratory rotations to find an advisor. Domestic students interested in biomedical research are eligible for support through NIH training grants.
