The concentration synthesizes global operations, purchasing, logistics, and distribution into a cohesive strategy that will enable the student to substantially increase efficiency and reduce waste of resources in organizations and their supply chains. Students in this concentration will develop in-depth knowledge and specialized skills in utilizing modern methods of project management, service operations management, enterprise resources planning, lean management and six-sigma quality, supply chain planning, logistics, procurement and purchasing, strategic sourcing, and e-commerce supply chains. Upon completion of the OSCM concentration, students will be capable to get employed at a wide-range of middle- to upper-level management jobs in service and production operations analysis, planning and scheduling, quality management, logistics, sourcing, and purchasing/procurement.
