  • Minimum GPA must be equivalent to a United States GPA of 2.00 on a 4.00 scale.

Transfer Students:

  • International students transferring from universities in the United States must submit the following documents

    An official transcript, including all work completed at other U.S. universities. Minimum GPA 2.00 (4.00 scale).

  • International students transferring from universities outside the United States must submit the following documents

    An official transcript, including all coursework completed at all other universities attended, along with an official English translation.

International Education Scholarship

- **Amount:** This scholarship will provide the student between $9,300 and $14,000 annually (two semesters). - **Requirements:** Scholarship for new undergraduate students who have elevated academic achievement and will be enrolled full-time in academic courses (minimum of 12 hours per semester). This scholarship is for one year only (two semesters) and will waive up to out-of-state tuition requirements. Students must meet all admission requirements and meet English proficiency requirements.

International Honors Scholarship

- **Amount:** This scholarship will provide the student between $9,300 and $14,000 annually (two semesters). - **Requirements:** Recognizes undergraduate students who have performed well in their first two semesters at Troy University by maintaining at least a 3.0 Cumulative Institutional GPA. The scholarship will waive up to out-of-state tuition as long as a Cumulative Institutional GPA of at least 3.0 is maintained continually until graduation.

International Trojan Opportunity

- **Amount:** This scholarship will provide the student between $9,300 and $14,000 annually (two semesters). - **Requirements:** The International Trojan Opportunity scholarship enables students who begin their undergraduate academic work with Troy University at an overseas TROY location to be eligible for an International Trojan Opportunity scholarship if they transition to an Alabama campus as unconditionally admitted students. This scholarship will waive out-of-state tuition requirements.

Graduate Scholarships

- **Amount:** This scholarship will provide the student between $8,500 and $9,000 annually (two semesters). - **Requirements:** This scholarship is designed to encourage students from outside of Alabama to pursue graduate work at Troy’s Alabama campuses. Recipients must be “unconditionally” admitted to the graduate school including English proficiency requirements. The scholarship will waive out-of-state tuition. Students must maintain a 3.10 cumulative grade point average at the time of scholarship renewal to continue to receive the scholarship and must enroll in a minimum of nine hours per semester or six hours per term.

Graduate Assistantship

- **Amount:** Each student receives payments from their specific academic department, plus a tuition waiver of $2,500 per semester. - **Requirements:** These assistantships enable eligible graduate students to receive financial support in exchange for working twenty hours per week in an academic department. These Assistantships are extremely competitive and are awarded by departments throughout the University.
