What Algoma University says about their program:
In our Biology program, you will take courses that will teach you the scientific method, and how to use it. Our program takes a problem-solving approach to the sciences, preparing students for life in general, but also for graduate studies. Biology students gain practical experience through laboratory and internship courses that allow them to work with researchers or relevant businesses. Algoma Biology students can conduct ground-breaking research with world-class scientists as part of the honours thesis course. Each year, many of our students volunteer or work in faculty research labs, and some of those students even publish the work they do in scientific journals!
