The Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences degree provides students with a foundation of knowledge and skills in diverse areas of biology, including ecology, genetics, molecular and cell biology, evolution, organismal diversity and physiology/biochemistry. This degree is ideal for those who want to attend medical school, veterinary school or pursue graduate studies and careers in botany, zoology, ecology, molecular and cellular biology, biomedical research, health care, natural resource management and nonprofits.
Our Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences: Biology Education provides students with the same foundation of physical science, life science and mathematics courses and labs as our standard Bachelor of Science program in addition to courses offered by the School of Education and Human Development, including a teaching internship.
