What North Seattle College says about their program:
This pathway is designed for students that wish to obtain an Associate of Arts Direct-Transfer Agreement (AA-DTA) degree with an emphasis in Art History. Completion of this pathway provides a visual and historical analysis of objects made throughout time. In lectures, discussions, and online content, students discover the broader context that surround works of art, design, and architecture, providing an understanding of why these objects were made, what they represent, and how they can tell us stories of humanity. Courses in Art History prepare students for transferring into an Art History major and satisfy Art History requirements for students entering into a Studio Art major.
