University of Oregon awards more than $4 million in scholarships every year to international students. These include renewable merit scholarships that are automatically awarded (up to $20,000 per year) and need-based scholarships that require an additional application (up to $25,000). Most scholarships can be combined.

UO has a number of international student services and support programs, such as the International Cultural Service Program (ICSP), the International Peer Mentor Program, and the Friendship Foundation for International Students (FFIS) to help you adjust to life in the USA.

The University hosts and supports over 300 student clubs and organizations, including Club sports, honor societies, student unions, sororities and fraternities. No matter your interests, there's something for everyone at UO.

On-campus housing is guaranteed for first-year students, and you'll have the opportunity to be placed into an Academic Residential Community (ARC) or Residential Community (RC) where you’ll room with peers who share your interests and passions.
