The University of Minnesota Crookston (UMN Crookston) is a four-year, public university based in the US city of Crookston. As one of five campuses in the University of Minnesota system, it offers world-class programs in a friendly and supportive environment.

The University is made up of four academic departments: Agriculture and Natural Resources; Liberal Arts and Education; Business; and Math, Science, and Technology. They offer more than 30 majors, minors, and certificates, both on-campus and online.

UMN Crookston packs an impressive array of facilities into its 108-acre campus. With access to biotech labs, a courtroom, and much more besides, so you’ll benefit from a hands-on approach to teaching and learning.

With over 40 clubs and organizations to try out, UMN Crookston student life is far from boring. If you’re keen to flex your sporting skills, join one of the varsity teams. The Golden Eagles compete in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference across 11 sports.

It is a small campus which makes it easier to know everyone around. High interactions with faculty and staff makes it easier for students to understand things better. The facilities are great especially the residential life and Wellness center. One of the prettiest campuses around here. People are nice to you and makes you feel like home.

It is a great place to earn a degree and grow as a person. The people there have done nothing but support me in my pursuit as a student-athlete. The small class sizes are great and there is a family feel on campus. The only downside is the cold winters but not much of a price to pay with the degree and experience you receive.

    We are a small and friendly university with lots of activities to experience. Getting to know others here is easy and you will make strong friendships that will last a lifetime. Students here receive one-on-one attention from faculty, staff, and administration.

    The School is small so getting to class is only minutes away whether you live on or off-campus.

    Students have a high rate of employment after they graduate and in part it is because an internship is a requirement for most students.
