Louisville is the largest city in Kentucky and is centrally located, meaning that students can easily travel to other US cities such as Nashville, Indianapolis, and Chicago, in under six hours. Global Cardinal Scholarship for First-time Freshmen
The University of Louisville will offer merit-based scholarships for high achieving international undergraduate students. The Global Cardinal Scholarship is for first-time freshmen and will be based on a student’s cumulative high school Grade Point Average (GPA), converted to a four-point scale. Scholarships will be applied automatically.

Resident Tuition for Engineering M.S. Programs
The J.B. Speed School of Engineering is offering the resident tuition rate to all on-campus M.S. graduate students.
International Graduate Assistantships
International graduate students can apply for service, research, or teaching assistantship positions during the admissions process. The Graduate School also provides fellowships to a limited number of graduate students. Since graduate applicants are nominated for these positions by departments, you only need to fulfill admission requirements to be considered.

There are over 450 student organizations on campus to get involved in, make friends and discover new hobbies and interests. Students can also benefit from on-campus accommodation, with 12 residence halls that are only a 10 minute walk from academic buildings and facilities.
