Jamestown is a small city in the US state of North Dakota, nicknamed the “Buffalo City” for its famous bison herd and the National Buffalo Museum. The International Student Organization (ISO) Club hosts cultural events and celebrations to bring students from different countries, languages, and cultures together and share their experiences and heritage.

UJ provides on-campus housing, with four residence halls available for first-year students, and six options available for returning students. From my personal experience, I moved to UJ to play soccer and completed a PE degree in English which gave me the chance to find my place and people along the ride. UJ has a lot of resources for academics, languages, sport information, mental and physical health concerns, international program, etc. that can help others find a place to succeed.
