Scholarships at Towson University
Towson University's International Student Scholarship is awarded to new undergraduate students holding F or J visas who are entering TU with a strong record of academic success. Award amounts vary and recipients are selected through a competitive process based on academic records; no separate scholarship application is required beyond the complete undergraduate admission application. This scholarship is explicitly designed for international undergraduates (F/J visa holders), making it directly open to non-domestic students. Applicants should apply by February 1 for best consideration since funds are limited.
Offered through Towson University's College of Business and Economics, the Moneer Hojati-Kaynama Student Scholarship is explicitly open to international students with a declared undergraduate major in the College of Business and Economics. It is a merit-based departmental award intended to support international undergraduates pursuing business and economics degrees at TU, and is listed among the college's scholarship offerings alongside domestic-eligible awards.
The You Are Welcome Here (YAWH) Scholarship is awarded by Towson University to a select number of international freshman applicants each year, with award amounts covering approximately half the cost of tuition.
